The article explained that a recently fed shark is satisfied so it has little desire to bite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gave me pause and reminded me of so many Leaders who are not hungry: the Company is doing OK, there are Customers to satisfy, there is minimum Staff turnover, revenue could be better, but it is fine. The list varies by Leader, but the message is that we can become satisfied with the status quo. That \u201cgood\u201d is \u201cgood enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you are hungry for \u201cbetter\u201d and if you are <strong><em>not<\/em><\/strong> satisfied with how it is, you are more prone to accomplish more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since we are halfway through the year, it is time to\nconsider if you are hungry for \u201cmore\u201d for you and your Company. Think about the\nfollowing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What would \u201cbetter\u201d look like for you and your\nCompany?<\/li><li>What are the risks if you stay with the status\nquo?<\/li><li>What do you have yet to accomplish in 2019 that\nrequires more focus?<\/li><li>What obstacles do you need to overcome?<\/li><li>Are you spending more time \u201cin\u201d the business or\n\u201con\u201d the business?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognizing that status quo of \u201cgood enough\u201d creates mediocrity, being hungry for \u201cmore\u201d can be the first step to exceptional success.
